暴跌過(guò)后，比特幣今年已跑輸股市

對(duì)加密貨幣的投資者來(lái)說(shuō)，7月算不上一個(gè)好月份。繼7月8日的大幅下跌之后，比特幣（Bitcoin）今年的漲幅為13.3%，低于標(biāo)準(zhǔn)普爾500指數(shù)（S&P 500）同期的表現(xiàn)。
過(guò)去一個(gè)月，在2021年迄今為止投資回報(bào)率更高的賭注中，比特幣和股票（以標(biāo)準(zhǔn)普爾500指數(shù)為代表）一直難分勝負(fù)。但現(xiàn)在，波動(dòng)劇烈的比特幣已經(jīng)很難趕超股票的步伐。截至7月8日收盤(pán)，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)普爾500指數(shù)今年迄今為止上漲了15%，并且在7月9日上午的盤(pán)前交易中又再度上漲，而加密貨幣的價(jià)格板塊則充斥著紅色。

近期的下跌恰好發(fā)生在過(guò)去一周加密貨幣看似開(kāi)始企穩(wěn)之際。推動(dòng)加密貨幣在7月8日走低的因素包括中國(guó)方面進(jìn)一步的舉措，以及美國(guó)參議員伊麗莎白?沃倫寫(xiě)給美國(guó)證券交易委員會(huì)（Securities and Exchange Commission）的主席加里?根斯勒的一份報(bào)告——該報(bào)告稱(chēng)加密貨幣市場(chǎng)是“高度不透明、不穩(wěn)定的”。
看好加密貨幣的人們有充足的理由感到擔(dān)憂(yōu)。比特幣的交易價(jià)格繼續(xù)低于其備受關(guān)注的50日和100日移動(dòng)均線(xiàn)。因此，自從比特幣在4月中旬創(chuàng)下近6.5萬(wàn)美元的歷史新高以來(lái)，賣(mài)家比買(mǎi)家多了很多。
近期蘇富比（Sotheby’s）拍賣(mài)行拍賣(mài)一顆101.38克拉鉆石的故事就進(jìn)一步印證了加密貨幣的低迷。蘇富比拍賣(mài)行表示接受買(mǎi)家支付比特幣或以太幣來(lái)購(gòu)買(mǎi)這顆稀有的無(wú)暇鉆石。這是有史以來(lái)公開(kāi)接受加密貨幣支付的最昂貴的實(shí)物。然而由于沒(méi)有出現(xiàn)支付加密貨幣的買(mǎi)家，這顆鉆石最終以傳統(tǒng)法定貨幣9510萬(wàn)港元（約1230萬(wàn)美元）的價(jià)格出售，低于叫價(jià)。這讓加密貨幣的粉絲感到失望——他們?cè)鞠Ｍ舜闻馁u(mài)能夠成為加密貨幣被主流接受的又一里程碑。
但堅(jiān)定的支持者會(huì)堅(jiān)持下去。7月9日早上，埃隆?馬斯克在推特（Twitter）上為狗狗幣辯護(hù)，但他此舉未能提升該加密貨幣的價(jià)值。
比特幣和以太幣都在追求多層交易系統(tǒng)，但底層交易速度慢、成本高。
在我看來(lái)，狗狗幣將底層交易率最大化、將交易成本最小化是有好處的，交易所充當(dāng)了事實(shí)上的第二層。

July hasn’t been a good month for crypto investors. Following a steep decline on July 8, Bitcoin is now up 13.3% for the year, underperforming the S&P 500 over the same period.
For the past month, Bitcoin and stocks—as represented by the benchmark S&P 500—have traded places as the better-returning bet for investors so far in 2021. But the notoriously volatile Bitcoin is finding it hard to keep up. As of July 8’s close, the S&P 500 was up 15% year to date, and was gaining in premarket July 9 morning, while the crypto price board is awash in red.
The latest crypto decline was triggered by the rough tumble Bitcoin took yesterday, falling 6% at one point. Ethereum and Dogecoin had it worse, falling about 10%, according to CoinDesk, before recovering. Ethereum and Dogecoin are outperforming stocks for the year, but the latter is in a bear-market correction over the past month, and Ethereum is off 13.5% in that period.
The recent declines hit just as it appeared crypto coins were beginning to stabilize over the past week. Among the factors that pushed them lower on July 8 were further rumblings from China and a note to Securities and Exchange Commission chairman Gary Gensler from Sen. Elizabeth Warren that described crypto markets as “highly opaque and volatile.”
For crypto bulls, there’s some reason to worry. Bitcoin continues to trade below its closely watched 50- and 100-day moving average. The upshot: There have been a lot more sellers than buyers since Bitcoin hit its all-time high of nearly $65,000 in mid-April.
The fall from grace is exemplified by the story of a 101.38-carat diamond that was recently auctioned off at Sotheby’s. The international auction house said it would accept Bitcoin or Ether as payment for the flawless diamond—the most expensive physical object ever publicly offered for purchase with cryptocurrency. However, when a crypto buyer failed to emerge, the diamond was sold under the asking price in traditional fiat currency for HK$95.1 million ($12.3 million), disappointing crypto fans who hoped the auction would mark another milestone in the mainstream acceptance of the digital currencies.
But staunch supporters will stick around. Elon Musk tweeted in defense of Dogecoin in July 9 morning, which did little to lift the value of the coins.
BTC & ETH are pursuing a multilayer transaction system, but base layer transaction rate is slow & transaction cost is high.
There is merit imo to Doge maximizing base layer transaction rate & minimizing transaction cost with exchanges acting as the de facto secondary layer.

For now at least, Bitcoin will remain a victim of its own multilayer transaction system with a slow base layer transaction rate. And it’s still under pressure in the markets.
