????? 保持積極而有效的關(guān)系。如果創(chuàng)業(yè)者認(rèn)為導(dǎo)師回應(yīng)不夠及時(shí)，或者沒(méi)有共同語(yǔ)言，不必猶豫，馬上結(jié)束這種關(guān)系。一定要記住，對(duì)于創(chuàng)業(yè)者，導(dǎo)師所處的位置既能給創(chuàng)業(yè)者帶來(lái)幫助，也可能帶來(lái)傷害，所以不要浪費(fèi)他們的時(shí)間，甚至引起導(dǎo)師的反感和敵意。

????創(chuàng)業(yè)者如果有意尋找一位導(dǎo)師，選擇的對(duì)象必須是那些真正關(guān)心創(chuàng)業(yè)者個(gè)人成長(zhǎng)，真心希望創(chuàng)業(yè)者取得事業(yè)成功的人。這種感情上的投入和真切的關(guān)心才是導(dǎo)師發(fā)揮作用的關(guān)鍵所在。

????有人認(rèn)為，吃一塹長(zhǎng)一智，只有親身經(jīng)歷錯(cuò)誤，才能汲取經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn)。但有大量證據(jù)證明，通往商業(yè)成功的捷徑便是找到長(zhǎng)期研究成功訣竅的導(dǎo)師，站在他們肩膀上采摘成功的果實(shí)。作為創(chuàng)業(yè)者，如果連讓導(dǎo)師關(guān)系發(fā)揮作用都無(wú)法做到，又何談經(jīng)營(yíng)好一家公司呢？

????? Keep the relationship positive and productive. If a mentor proves to be unresponsive or on a different wavelength, bow out of the relationship immediately. Be aware that mentors are usually in a business position that can hurt you as well as help you, so don't waste their time or antagonize them.

????When you consciously and deliberately seek out a mentor, you must look for someone who genuinely cares about you as a person and who really wants you to be successful in your venture or your career. That emotional involvement and genuine concern for you are the keys to real mentor contributions.

????Some people will say that they need to make all their own mistakes, in order to learn from them. Yet there is plenty of evidence that the fastest way to business success is by piggy-backing on the counsel of men and women who have already spent years learning how to succeed. If you can't make a mentor relationship work, I worry about the rest of your business as well.
