????和凱美瑞一樣，RAV4今年晚些時候也將推陳出新。在緊湊型SUV這個競爭極為激烈的市場上，老款RAV4也到了烈士暮年了。日本地震導致的生產中斷更讓它的銷量雪上加霜。明年豐田將與特斯拉汽車公司（Tesla）合作推出一款電池動力的RAV4，這款車型將在豐田與通用汽車（General）合資建立的新聯合汽車制造公司（NUMMI）的加州工廠里投產。

????With a redesigned version coming later this year, old age is catching up with the RAV4 in this ultra-competitive segment. Production interruptions in Japan didn't help. Environmentalists are awaiting the launch in 2012 of a battery-electric model developed in cooperation with Tesla -- this one to be built in the old Toyota-General Motors NUMMI plant in California.
